Pre-Printed Durable Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels and Tags
Camcode’s Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels were designed to provide robust performance in highly caustic environments. Made of 304 or 316 Alloy Stainless Steel, these labels resist frequent cleaning and strong caustics found in food processing, medical, laboratory, chemical, textile and petroleum environments.
Our stainless steel bar code tags stand up to chemicals, caustics, solvents, salt and intermittent heat while remaining readable for the life of the part. Whatever your application, we work with you to design the best bar code solution for your needs.
Your product choices include:
316 Stainless Steel Labels
Our 316 Stainless Steel Labels are thicker for a more decorative nameplate look. These 316 alloy labels are well suited for marine environments which are exposed to salt spray, and are also ideal for food processing, medical and laboratory environments. Our Type 316 Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels are constructed of ceramic-marked Type 316 Stainless Steel (thickness of .024″), with a 2B matte finish, and are available with high-performance permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive and/or holes for mechanical attachment. 304 Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels
Camcode’s 304 Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels are constructed of ceramic-marked Type 304 Stainless Steel (thickness of .018″), with a standard 2B mill finish, and available with high-performance permanent pressure-sensitive adhesive and/or holes for mechanical attachment are available. These steel ID tags are specially designed for applications in chemical, textile, petroleum and food processing environments. Read more about our Type 304 Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels.
How Much do Stainless Steel Labels and ID Tags Cost?
Our minimum order is $650. Higher-volume orders reduce the per-unit cost – to less than $3 each for an order of several thousand steel tags – and exact prices depend on the material construction, size and quantity. Getting an exact quotation is easy – complete a request a quote.
Some applications require more than an ordinary bar code label, and different levels of durability. Camcode’s stainless steel labels are designed for the tough environments demanding exceptional durability combined with robust performance and readability.
Why Use Stainless Steel Tags for Equipment?
Stainless Steel Labels and Stainless Steel Tags Ideal for Caustic Environments
Stainless Steel Tags for Equipment are Highly Durable
Stainless steel tags for equipment offer exceptional durability for equipment that’s often exposed to frequent cleaning and strong caustics, such as those in food processing, medical, laboratory, chemical, textile, and petroleum environments. Equipment used in these applications requires steel tags with durability to rival that of the part itself.
Thick Stainless Steel ID Labels Lend a Decorative Nameplate Look
Camcode’s 316 Stainless Steel Labels are thicker and provide a decorative nameplate look desirable for many applications. Additionally, the thicker 316 Stainless Steel Labels are also ideal for marine environment applications where exposure to salt spray is likely. Camcode’s 304 Stainless Steel Labels are ideal for standard caustic applications.
Stainless Steel Labels with an Expected Exterior Lifespan of 20+ Years
When you’re implementing a bar code label solution, you don’t want to be faced with re-labeling your assets in a few short years simply because the labels can’t withstand exposure to the typical hazards associated with the environment. That’s why stainless steel labels are an excellent choice for highly caustic environments: Both 316 Stainless Steel Labels and 304 Stainless Steel Bar Code Labels offer an expected exterior lifespan of 20+ years, ensuring that your first investment in stainless steel tags for equipment will be the only asset labeling investment you’ll need to make through the life of your assets.
