New Changes for Submitting Data to the DoD IUID Registry

Military Asset Tracking / UID, Services

The U.S. DoD Office of Defense Procurement and Acquisition Policy recently made adjustments to its procedures for registering items into the IUID Registry. Beginning November 3, 2014, the IUID Registry is migrating to iRAPT (Invoicing, Receipt, Acceptance and Property Transfer), formerly known as WAWF (the Wide Area Workflow).

So what does that mean for you? All vendors must now submit their own “new” or “parent” item data to the iRAPT through their own account. Up until now, this is a service Camcode has performed for our customers. In addition, all new acquisition end items often referred to as “parents” must be submitted via iRAPT through an XML File. Although Camcode can no longer submit new acquisition parent items for you, we can help you properly format your data into an XML File so you can upload it to iRAPT. We can also continue to register all your “legacy” or “children” item data directly for you, as we’ve done in the past.

For accessing the WAWF:

Current IUID Registry user profiles will be migrated to iRAPT on November 3, 2014.

If you already have both an IUID Registry and a iRAPT account, you should log into your iRAPT account and enter your IUID Registry User ID in the “User/Profile Maintenance” page. If you need to add an IUID Registry User ID to an existing iRAPT account, click here.

If you currently use the IUID Registry, but don’t have a iRAPT account or a valid Department of Defense Activity Address Code (DoDAAC) associated with your account, you will be required to provide a valid DoDAAC on your first iRAPT login attempt.

IUID Registry Legacy and DCMA users without a iRAPT account should log into your Registry account and add a valid DoDAAC for account migration prior to November 3. For more information on how to add a valid DoDAAC to an existing IUID Registry account, click here.
