Camcode UID Label Expertise Featured in Department of Navy IUID Journal

The U.S. Department of the Navy DON IUID Journal recently highlighted Camcode UID bar code asset tags in a recent publication.
The Camcode Division of Horizons Incorporated, a global leader in bar code solutions for item unique identification (UID) applications, recently contributed an article on UID compliance methods, featured in the U.S. Department of the Navy’s (DON) IUID Journal.
The purpose of the DON IUID Journal is to help the DON community achieve success in its UID compliance efforts. In the article, Camcode UID Program Manager, Randy Uveges, gives his perspective on Legacy Ship Construct 1 and Construct 2 IUID tags, as well as provides lessons learned from his time conducting ship IUID marking projects on 10 USNS vessels.
Uveges writes, “…bar coding of assets has led to dramatic increases in productivity, accountability, and accuracy over the last decade,” and that the Navy’s involvement with IUID will have a positive impact.
